How can you set Hide or Unhide Hard Disk Drives? You can hide and unhidden your hard disk for special security (that means nobody can open it) but it is easy way to complete this work. Though there are many folder guard software of a computer but here is no need to setup any software.

We want to Hide the Drive E: for example- (Be careful if you are a new user)
How can you set Hide or Unhide Hard Disk Drives?
just write the Run box and…….
1. click start
2. click Run
3. Type ” gpedit.msc ”
4. click ok
5. Administrative templates
6. Windows component (double click)
7. Windows explorer (double click)
8. Hide these specified drives in my computer (double click)
9. Enabled
10.apply
11. OK.
After completing the task you will see the image below-
See the Red ( X ) mark. The drive E: has been hidden. It is done. Follow the tips (Same again) for unhide the drive again.
How can you set Hide or Unhide Hard Disk Drives?
Unhidden again :
1. click start
2. click Run
3. Type ” gpedit.msc ”
4. click ok
5. Administrative templates
6. Windows component (double click)
7. Windows explorer (double click)
8. Hide these specified drives in my computer (double click)
9. not configured
10. apply-ok.
